only disadventage is that you will have 2 different version of same application , one with old , other with new. service may be servred by both, where you may see different response as it is served by different version.
both Blue-existing one and Green-new enviromnrnt is up, load balancdr will be maitining trafficwith blue unless green ens is fully tested.once verified, traffic will be switched to greem.
